According to its developer, Quick is a puzzle game that was created out of boredom to cure boredom.
If you find yourself with a bit of time to kill, Quick does make for an interesting diversion. The basic aim of the game is to place the blocks in their correct position on the grid. Blocks will only fit next to another block if the colors on the adjacent sides are the same. You can only move blocks into empty squares on the grid.
The reason the game is called Quick is that it's a race against time, and your objective is to beat your previous quickest time. There's even a two player mode where you take your go then your pal has to play and try and beat your time.
In terms of its presentation, Quick isn't much to look at. The graphics are very rudimentary, and the menu screens are pretty barren.
It might not be the most original puzzle game, but Quick does present a challenging diversion for anyone who is dying of boredom.
